Word Book

Hello - I finished my first word book for my niece, Destiny.  It was so much fun to make.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the letters and welded them together with a rectangle from George and Basic Shapes to form the letters using Design Studio.  Then I cut them out, decorated the pages and bound it with Bind-it-All.  I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoy creating.

My First Mini Album

This was my first mini album that I made for a dear friend of mine, Michele.   Most of the papers are Graphic45, some from Hobby Lobby and some are My Minds Eye.  It contains different folding techniques, envelope technique, a slider card, etc.  If you want to know how I constructed the 6 x 6 book just ask.  I am always willing to share information.  Most of the ideas came from the wonderful ladies on youtube.  So if you search "mini albums" you will see some of the inspiration that I used.  Thanks to all of you because you gave me the ideas.  If you have any questions, just ask.  Thanks for looking.  Now Michele, all you have to do is add pictures !!!!!

Framed

Hello Everyone.   I finally made a frame from those wooden frames that Michael's sell for $1.00.    This was such an easy project to complete.  Take any color acrylic paint that you want to use.  Draw the frame onto the paper you want to use, cut out, then tear around the outside and inside.  Coat painted frame with ModPodge, adhere the paper then add another layer of ModPodge over it.  Decorate with flowers, metal embellies, ribbon etc.  This way you can color the frame to match any color in the photos.   Hope you like.  This picture is of Lucas (of course)!   LOL

Buckets, buckets

This is the  Halloween season and another year of buckets.  However, this year I got to make another bucket for our newest grandchild who hasn't yet made an appearance yet - any day now !!!!   Lucas wants to go as a purple dinosaur this year so I had to put that on his bucket.  I found the buckets and paper at Archiever's.  Martha Stewart drippy goo punch and web punch were used on the top and bottom.  The ghost's were another punch but I can't remember who made it.  Hope you enjoy.  I love making these things.

Happy Halloween

Hello Folks.  So sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I am busy trying to make my first mini albums and enjoying the process so much.  I hope to have some pictures soon for you to look at.  In the meantime, this image if from Bugaboo Stamps.  Isn't he a cutie?  The papers are from Archiever's.  I hope you enjoy this Halloween card.  The punches are from Martha Stewart.  That dippy goo punch is so versatile and her new (from last year) cobweb is perfect for Halloween.   I am entering this card in I Did It Creation Challenge Blog.  Please go there and join in on the fun.
