This time I was in the mood for something pink and brown.  I made the pink/brown/white photo paper that is behind the girl.  I used a brayer with Tim Holtz inks and I really liked how this turned out.  The image is from  Bugaboo, colored with copics, flowers by Primas, punch by Martha Stewart and ribbon from JoAnns.  I don't know if you can see it but there is a faux stitching around the image that I just figured out how to do.  Thanks to Dorcas Designs on Crafters Digital Art Center for the faux stitching tutorial.

Stitchy Bear

I bought this cute little bear at Stitchy Bear Stamps and decided he would work great as a birthday card.

What did I use:   
    Copics: E40, E41, E42, E49, R27, R29, R20. 
    Silver glitter pen:  around the sparkler, clothes, and saying.
    Cuttlebug:  "Devine Swirls"
    EK Success:  corner punch
    Rhinestones in the four corners. 
    Brad: The best however is Karen Foster's "Sparkle Burst Brads".
    Paper:  True Red and White from Hobby Lobby

Christmas in July Challenge

I entered another challenge at Crafter's Digital Art Center and this one was a digi stamp from Sew Many Cards.  His name is Eris and he is a cutie.  You can go to this website to download his image free, but not forever so hurry over there and join in on the fun.   CDAC surprised me by featuring my card in their Photo Gallery.  I am so delighted.

I also entered the challenge on One Stitch At A Time.  This time you just need a digi stamps of your choice.  These ladies do such fabulous work and I am always stealing ideas from the design team.  Sshh - don't tell !!!   I hope you ladies like my work as much as I like yours.

Good Morning. 

I went to my Aunt's 93rd birthday party last weekend and it was wonderful.  I got to see alot of my cousins that I haven't seen in years.  I forgot to take a picture of her card, but she seemed to really like it so that made me happy. 

My goal this year is to have at least one card made and ready to send for all occasions.  I am getting there slowly but surely but those "sympathy" cards are the hardest.  I am having trouble with them so if any of you have any ideas, please tell me.

I got two baby cards made.  The images are from Bugaboo Stamps that were  freebies.  Thanks, Jodie !!!!  They were colored with copics and the papers were from Hobby Lobby.   I hope you enjoy.

First Layout in a Long Time

I have been so busy making cards that my layouts have suffered greatly.  I think I am now probably over a year behind. LOL  I don't think I'll ever be caught up as something new comes along in crafting and then I have to try that out. 

I was inspired by this challenge at "Scrapping with I Did It Creations".  Michele told me all about this neat blog and thought I would dust off my 12x12 sheets and try their sketch.   Here is my take on the LO and the picture is of my son, daughter-in-law and my awesome grandson.  Yeah !!!!  I hope you enjoy.

Good Afternoon -  I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th.  Our nephew, Scott, invited up over to his house to celebrate the twins, Seth and Ashley's birthdays.  Yes, they were born on the 4th of July four years ago.   We all had such a wonderful time.

I am entering this card at One Stitch at a Time challenge blog because it's all about ribbons and bows.  Since I am not a real good bow maker (even though I have the bow easy) I decided just to use a ribbon.  The other challenge I am entering in is Copic Creations.  This weeks challenge is all about birds.  Please go to their website and look at the fabulous work these ladies did on their birds.
