Monochromatic Color

I got this idea from Copic Creations using Katie Cotton's tutorial for coloring using a monochromatic scheme.   I just loved Lillian Tan's wedding card and decided to come up with one of my own.  Since I have two great-neices getting married this year it will come in handy.  I don't feel old enough for great-neices. LOL  The color for one of the bride's wedding is purple.  I think you can tell by the card. haha  I hope you enjoy.

Copics Used:  V12, V15, V17
Paper:   Wisteri from BasicGrey
Flowers:  Recollections -  which I colored using the above copics.
Digi Stamps:  Meljen's Design (freebie - thank you)

Hello.  I finished coloring this card with copics.  I am trying to color layers and need a little more practice. LOL  However, I really like the shading around the image.  This image is so cute.

For those of you don't know me - I love to read.  Romance is my thing and now I am hooked on the supernatural.  LOL  I just finished reading in the past couple of months JR Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood Series.  Yes, all 6 of them!!!  My favorite was Zsadist and Bella.  I could just picture him fainting. LOL   Now I am reading Jeaniene Frost.  I love Cat and Bones.  Characters are just great.   My Kindle sure is getting a workout and I am sure
Amazon just loves me.  If any of you have some books that you love please let me know.   Thanks.

Finally,  I have tried a technique that I have been wanting to do for a long time -  ceiling tiles.   I just embossed card stock with gray embossing powder (you do this twice).  Punch out 1" squares and then using the Cuttlebug emboss the image of your choice.  Super simple but what a bang.  The image is Magnolia (of course) and I colored her using copics.  The lattice punch is from Martha Stewart.    She has Stickles on her wings.  Thanks for looking.

Getting Ready to Go See Mickey

The family is going to Disney World.   I made this cute tag for Lucas for his luggage.   The paper and the blank tag are from Archiever's and the cut outs are from Mickey and Friends cricut cartridge.  The saying is computer generated.   I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it.  We are getting so excited to go.

Hello - It has been awhile since I did any crafting.  I lost my mojo for awhile. LOL     This card is for a Bugaboo Stamp challenge that I am entering.  The image was colored with copics then stickles were used on the icing and his hat.  The candles are from EKSuccess punch.  When I first bought this punch I wasn't sure how often I would use it, but I love this punch.  The paper came from Archievers.  I hope you enjoy.
